Referrals

Welcome to the Referrals page for Alexandra Dench Psychology.

If you are considering referring to my practice, rest assured that you will be in safe and compassionate hands. I value the trust you place in me and strive to provide the highest quality of care for every individual, family or children and young people.

You will be offered an initial FREE 15mins consultation.

You will typically be offered an appointment for an assessment within two weeks of contacting the practice and if therapy is recommended this can usually start straight away.

Assessment

The initial assessment meeting is a chance for us to talk about your difficulties and to establish whether psychological therapy will be appropriate to address your difficulties.

At the assessment meeting we will also discuss the most appropriate therapeutic approach and agree on a provisional number of sessions. Occasionally, you may require a second assessment meeting to agree on the most appropriate treatment for you.

I accept self-funding clients and am recognised as a Counselling Psychologist by the following medical insurers:

Before starting therapy, it is important to read, understand and sign the terms and conditions which I will email to you. This includes information on confidentiality, cancellation policies, and my commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for all clients.

Fee for face to face and online sessions is £110.

Sessions can be self-funded or funded by the insurers listed above.
